This is a embroidered felt formation sign badge to the 1st ESSEX SIGNAL REGIMENT (Jon Mills BoBD 5481 in excellent worn condition. The badge which measures 58mm by 52mm was in use from February 1958 and continued to be worn when the Regiment became 45th (Essex) Signal Regiment in 1959.
