This is a WW2 embroidered-felt arm badge to the Glider-Borne Troops (Edwards/Langley 89A) – (Jon Mills BoBD 2123) in excellent worn condition. The badge was worn on the lower left arm by troops in the Battalions of the Airlanding Brigades, these included:-
1st Bttn. Border Regiment, 2nd Bttn. South Staffordshire Regiment, 2nd Bttn. Ox & Bucks Light Infantry, 1st Bttn. Royal Ulster Rifles, 12th. Bttn Devonshire Regiment (TA), 7th Bttn. King’s Own Scottish Borderers (TA) and 1st Bttn. Glider Pilot Regiment.
