This is a very scarce set of WW2 cap badge and collar badge pair to the Libyan Arab Force also known as the Sanusi Army in excellent worn condition. White metal star and crescent mounted on a dense black composite material over a brass backing plate and slider, 30mm in diameter and the collars the same but with 2 lugs each and 24mm in diameter. Interesting unit that once counted Major Vladimir Peniakoff (Popski’s Private Army) as a serving officer.
